MISSIONAL COMMUNITIES

These are communities who pursue three things together: to be transformed by Jesus, to become family with one another, and to cultivate the flourishing of the Bow Valley. 

To reach these goals we practice certain rhythms: reimagine, gather, scatter and bless. In reimagining we take time to walk our town and neighbourhoods and reimagine how God is currently working and how we might participate in that work. In gathering we welcome neighbours and friends around our tables to experience the goodness of God’s family and discuss life and faith. In scattering we seek to enter the social spaces of our valley to be present with the world and participate in God’s mission to make all things new. In blessing we seek to collaborate with neighbours and neighbourhoods to seek the good right where we are, within whatever the local stories and opportunities may be.
