OUR STORY

God is at work writing an incredible story through Jesus for the whole world, including Canmore. Over the past few years, God has called us to join the work he is doing here—work that did not begin with us, and will not end with us. However, we have the joy to participate with him as we see Jesus transform lives and neighbourhoods.

As participants, we’ve spent the majority of 2017 and 2018 becoming rooted in the rhythms of our community, engaging in work, building relationships and discerning our identity as a church. Canmore has become our home and we dearly love it. It’s a place of extreme beauty, where diverse people come together to enjoy creation on a trail, sharing a rope, or making fresh tracks. But it’s also a place that is home to brokenness. It’s a place where people experience deep anxieties and loneliness, where the allure of adventure doesn’t always keep its promises, and where people feel unseen.

So, we envision being a church that seeks to bring kingdom imagination to every sphere of society in Canmore. As we embrace and live out the good new of Jesus restoring all things, we pray that we will see transformation in Canmore that can only be attributed to Him.
